Each week, we scour the internet for all things indie MMO-related, so you don’t have to. This week was filled with the usual stuff - devblogs, testing sessions, and Fntastic assuring us they are really making a game. Really, though, a 30-second CGI clip of driving a sports car? I guess the sauna scene wasn’t crazy enough. Anyway, let’s quit wasting time laughing about a hot tub simulator and sports car genre mashup and get started with this week’s Indie MMO Spotlight.

Anvil Empires

Pre-Alpha test #5 will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 13th and 14th. Instead of the previously scheduled PvP test, players will get a chance to do some settlement building. Although players have already been chosen for this test, you can sign up for future tests on the Anvil Empires’ Steam page.

BitCraft

The world of BitCraft is still under construction, and this week’s Twitter post transforms the placeholder image for the smelter into something game worthy.

Cinderstone Online

A new roadmap was posted this week, with everything from short to long-term development goals.

The Cycle: Frontier

Patch 3.4.0 went live this week. A quick look at the patch notes tells me this was more of a balance pass and bugfix patch with nothing major being added to the game.

The Day Before

I’m sure you already saw it, but Aussie gaming site WellPlayed had an exclusive interview with Fntastic’s co-founders. It appears the legal battle over the game’s name is still ongoing, yet the team is confident that the game will be back on Steam “soon.” There’s also a new trailer if you can call it that.

Ethyrial: Echoes of Yore

Patch 2.0 went live this week. While milestone patches like 2.0 and 3.0 usually signify major changes to a game or a significant amount of new content, it looks like the folks at Gellybelly Studios just increment their patches by .1, so don’t expect anything more than a balance pass and bugfixes here.

Gloria Victis

Update 362 brings us the first iteration of the buildings and resources balance. The current Glory Season ends on Wednesday, June 14th, and there was also a reminder that Wolfied and Wolfied 2 were merged into a single server, as were Holmridge and Holmridge 2.

Hordes.io

After over a year of development, Update 0.50 has finally hit the public test realms. The test will be done in three phases, with the first one already completed on Friday. You can find all the details on the Hordes.io Discord channel.

Mist Legacy

Update 1.0.5.0 (The Collector update) has gone live. The update add new content to Mist Legacy, including a new level advancement system for guilds and cities, a new endgame dungeon, and much more.

Monsters & Memories

Update 32 covers all of the development progress from April and May, so you can expect a huge dose of concept art, audio, animation updates, and more.

Nightingale

A quick YouTube Short showed us the starter tile set for building your Estate in Nightingale.

Open Perpetuum Project

A 10X EP bonus is in effect through June 12th.

Palia

Tech Test 2 was held on June 8th. The test was considered a continuation of Tech Test 1, so no new invites were sent out. You can still apply for future tests on the Palia website.

Prosperous Universe

Development Log #389 serves as an announcement of the upcoming Liquidity update, with Fabian sharing some details of the changes to the company rating system. It also has a new monthly economic report.

Starkeepers

Development Update #11 was posted this week. The update focuses primarily on territory conquest and covers everything from what a Starkeep is to how to claim and defend your territory.

Tatsumeeko

As always, here is the Tatsumeeko Weekly Devblog.

A Township Tale

Update 1.5.2 went live this week.

Zenith: The Last City

Patch 3 for the Skyward Summit update was rolled out this week. It looks like the patch was primarily bugfixes.
